The 7/8" thick tubing on the frame is made using 18-gauge steel, and the large, comfortable seat has a full 14" diameter, with an 11 1/2" diameter Masonite board recessed into the pan. The lower legs protrude slightly to ensure proper stool stabilization, with an outer leg diameter of 5/8".
